Concept award is plain sailing for Andrew
Motor yacht services worker Andrew Borrett-Newman is riding on the crest of a wave after picking up a top award from his Plymouth employer.
Andrew has been selected Temp of the Month by leading South West recruitment specialist Concept Staffing.
Concept's Plymouth Branch Manager Carol Cooke said, "Concept has been providing both temporary and permanent staff to Western Marine Power for the last two and a half years.
"Andrew Borrett-Newman was taken on at WMP just before Christmas 2007. He worked during the Christmas vacation in order to help the company complete an urgent order.
"His quality of work plus his attendance was exemplary and he has now been offered a permanent position with the company. Andrew is an industrious young man whose hard work and dedication has brought him rewards."
From its Head Office location in North Devon, Concept Staffing operates from 16 locations across the South West with over 500 clients and a turnover of more than £21 million.
Since December last year, Concept Staffing has been a member of the Acorn Group, a leading UK recruitment company with 38 branches UK-wide. This partnership has extended the geographical reach for Concept, which now also stretches across Wales, the north west of England and Scotland.
Together they deliver some 5,500 temps to more than 1,000 different clients each week, as well as delivering training to more than 3,000 learners and placing some 1,500 permanent placements each year.
