NSPCC’s Child’s Voice Appeal
CONCEPT Staffing, the South West's leading recruitment agency, has launched a new campaign to support the NSPCC's Child's Voice Appeal. .
The launch coincides with the 17th birthday this month of Concept's parent company, Acorn.
Concept staff will be organising raffles and party games to raise money for the NSPCC's new appeal which aims to help expand and develop the charity's helplines; the NSPCC Helpline, for adults with concerns about the welfare of a child and ChildLine, the UK's free 24-hour confidential helpline for children and young people who need to talk.
Since being named a corporate patron for NSPCC in 2005, the Acorn Group has already raised more than £48,000 for the children's charity.
Concept marketing manager Sarah Griffiths said: "Our parent company has enjoyed 17 years of supporting charity and community initiatives for both local and national causes.
"The Child's Voice Appeal is such a worthwhile cause and we at Concept are delighted to be giving it our backing, too.
"Staff in all 15 branches will be taking part in a series of
upcoming events including a birthday raffle and an e-pass-the-parcel. Some of our staff have also expressed an interest in becoming ChildLine volunteers."

Every day, thousands of children and young people need to talk to ChildLine about a problem they face. Hundreds of caring adults call the NSPCC Helpline, worried about a child's safety. Every time a caller doesn't speak to a counsellor, a child's safety may be at risk.
We want to ensure we answer all cries for help at whatever time day or night they come in, so through the Child's Voice Appeal, our aim is to raise £50 million nationally over the next three years to continue to run and grow our helpline services.
