Concept's Gift and Glamour evening
On Friday 10th October, Concept Staffing and Jurys Inn Plymouth introduced an "Evening of Gift and Glamour" in aid of Jeremiah's Journey. The black tie evening welcomed over 130 guests and raised £5,500 for the cause.
The evening was based around a silent auction that offered fabulous prizes donated by local businesses. These included a week in Kefalonia, mini cruise to Spain and a 40" TV, to name a few. The rest of the night was supported by ten different themed rooms including; a casino, art exhibition, and Nintendo Wii room.
Jeremiah's Journey is made up of a team of individuals experienced in working with bereaved children and their parents or carers. They provide information and support to children who have experienced or are anticipating the death of someone special to them.
Carol Cooke, Branch Manager of Concept Staffing was instrumental in the organisation of the event, in memory of her sister, said "Jeremiah's Journey is an extremely worthwhile charity, which gives much needed support to the local community. The evening was a way for businesses to give something back and raise awareness of the work of the charity. Jurys Inn Plymouth is a key client of Concept Staffing and was delighted to both host and help organise the event."

Jurys Inn Plymouth opened in the heart of Plymouth city centre mid 2007 and one of 23 Hotels in the Jurys Inn Group covering UK and Ireland with 9 new hotel openings in 2009 including Jurys Inn Exeter, planned to open in the late Spring. It is the newest and largest hotel in Plymouth, boasting 247 modern rooms and 11 dedicated conferencing suites. Richard Cambridge, Sales Manager of Jurys Inn Plymouth said:
