Rich has smashing designs for the Group

Rich ChittyOne of the UK’s leading recruitment and training agencies newest recruit is hoping to make a sound impression in his new role.

The Acorn Group, which Concept Staffing is part of, has appointed in-house graphic designer Rich Chitty, 26 from Riverside in Cardiff, to join their head office in Newport.

Having worked in the design industry for over five years, Rich has all the attributes required for the demanding graphic designer role.   He is responsible for the Group’s design and brand communications, including that of Acorn, Concept Staffing and Exxell.

Rich said: “I’ve got some good ideas about what I’d like to achieve for the Group. I want to develop some fresh and innovative ideas to continue to promote the brands.”

Sue Winfield, Head of Marketing, at the Acorn Group said: “We are really excited to have Rich on board. He is a talented designer who has produced some outstanding work, we really look forward to seeing what he has in store for us.

“In addition to being an extremely creative designer Rich is also one eighth of Indiepop band ‘The School’ and one sixth of post-folk band ‘Lucky Delucci’.  Touring as a drummer across Europe certainly gives him an artistic flair that we welcome at Concept, Acorn and Exxell.”

The Acorn Group has 42 office locations UK-wide and is a leading provider of temporary employment across the UK. The company recently announced a record week’s revenue of more than £2million and has already reached its 2009 total turnover and is heading for the £95m mark by the close of this year.
